However, the Fisks' biological daughter, Lauren Fisk, suspects that Julia is out to get her. After Lauren is diagnosed with ALS, she refuses to believe it and even destroys the only dose of a miracle drug that could cure her. She then forces Julia to cut ties with her adoptive family. Disappointed, Julia leaves for good.
